Belinda Carlisle

Belinda Carlisle to join Dancing With The Stars within the General Entertainment forums, part of the Non-Music Discussions category; Belinda Carlisle lead singer of the Go-Go's will be joining DWTS this season. Other notable celebrities include Jewel. Ballroomful of surreal ... Lil' Kim and Belinda Carlisle are set to appear on Dancing with the Stars.
Most importantly, Belinda Carlisle will be competing against Lil' Kim. Belinda Carlisle. And Lil' Kim. We can only hope that both will last long enough in the competition to get to dance to one of their own songs in the freestyle round. Chances are high that excitable judge Bruno Tonioli will squeal with delight at both of them.
Apart from that, we have Denise Richards, famous these days mostly for her bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen and her random E! reality show – oh, and denying that she was going to be on Dancing with the Stars. Singer-songwriter Jewel's in there too, along with her husband, "rodeo athlete" Ty Murray; clearly they noted the brilliant success the BBC had with Gabby and Kenny Logan in 2007 and thought they'd piggyback on it.

Katy Perry Grammy

Katy Perry arriving at the Grammy Awards. During her Grammy Red Carpet interview with Ryan Seacrest, she begged Ryan to ask her what she had in her purse. She then proceeded to pull out locks of hair from Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. Katy did look stunning in her self-described ‘Bubble Gum Pink” dress. Her red heart purse wasn’t the best choice but afterall, it did have other girls hair in it!
I’m just getting out of the Grammy Awards. The show this year was cool. I especially enjoyed Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo in the tribute to the Four Tops. Jennifer Hudson is amazingly strong, and her voice is powerful. So many people in the building were crying. it was great to chop it up with so many of the presenters and performers. Was Katy Perry really flirting with me? We had a really playful conversation where she started off interviewing me. That pink dress was cute. Don’t hurt ‘em.
Talk of the new Eminem albums came at EMI Music’s big Grammy after party at SLS Hote, thrown in conjunction with Stand Up For a Cure, the cancer charity. Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Katy Perry, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, were just some of the celeb guests, as well as Sean Stewart (Rod’s son), Barbara Orbison (Roy’s widow), Donovan Leitch (the singer Donovan’s popular son), and comedian Chris Tucker.

Steve Wozniak

Steve Wozniak will be featured on the next season of Dancing With the Stars. There's not much we can tell you right now about his upcoming moves, though we will be watching with bated breath, quietly hoping for a double Lindy, the Sugarfoot, and Denise Richards being dipped on a Segway. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak isn't known for his dance moves - but now he's going to bust his best grooves in front of millions.
The programme, which is America's version of Strictly Come Dancing, is one of the biggest shows in the US. We interviewed Woz recently, and I'm led to believe that training is just about to start ahead of the show in March - although he has already been getting himself ready for the show for the past few weeks. And while Woz claims he's not much of a dancer, he also said that his god daughter had persuaded him to take part when ABC approached him about the show.
The 58-year-old might seem an unlikely candidate for a few turns around the floor (after all, he's mostly partial to Segway Polo these days) but he's not the only geek to have appeared on the show: Woz follows in the footsteps of fellow tech billionaire Mark Cuban, who took part in 2007. He's also had a brush with television recently, as a close friend of comedian Kathy Griffin, who has her own reality show.
