Tamara Hofmann

Tamara Hofmann as a former math teacher at Marcos de Niza High School, then El Dorado High School. It is at El Dorado that Hofmann met Samuel Valdivia Now police believe that because of a love triangle Balbuena stabbed Valdivia to death last Friday after he allegedly found Hofmann and Valdivia in bed together.
According to court documents, Balbuena was on leave from the Navy when he arrived at Hofmann’s home in the 2500 block of West Ironwood Drive about 2 a.m. and called her to let her know he was outside. There was no answer so Balbuena let himself in, heard noises from the bedroom and thought something was wrong. He grabbed a knife from the kitchen and entered the bedroom, where he saw a man run into the bathroom.
Oh my god another sick woman. What is with these women who are having love affairs with their students? Now a boy is dead because of jealousy between two male students. Sixto Balbuena, 20, killed Samuel Valdivia, 18. Balbuena let himself into Tamara Hofmann's home and ran into Samuel Valdivia in the bathroom. Balbuena knew that Hofmann had been with Valdivia. Balbuena assaulted Valdivia and used a knife to stab him.

Julia Allison

Julia Allison reportedly left a Chicago nightclub with Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. But we do know the fameball was "standing between his thighs, touching them" before she left. That's per Page Six. Per the oversharing queen's Twitter, we know Allison was showing the new QB her headband at 2 am in one tweet, and then not posting again until 7:35 am the next morning (see below left).
"Jay is one of the top 10 quaterbacks in the NFL," she wrote a friend. "I didn't know who he was until last night." It's rough time for the Allison's "lifecasting" startup NonSociety; one of her three co-founders just split and an option to expand a reality show deal with Bravo expired at the end of February. A little tabloid-fueled traffic bump could come in hand right about now, if only for morale-raising purposes: Allison, it goes without saying, thrives on attention.
The question is whether Allison would allow herself to be called "gross" in order to plant an item like this on Page Six. Not normally. But she kind of needs a "Hail Mary" right now, apparently in more ways than one. Lil' Kim nearly had a big wardrobe malfunction on "Dancing With the Stars." This week's front-runner on the ABC dance competition had some trouble with her top at the end of a jive with partner Derek Hough on Monday night.

Dendreon

Dendreon is a company that's really been through it, as have their investors. Many will remember the upheaval back in 2007, when the company showed what they felt were impressive results for their autologous prostate cancer immunotherapy Provenge, got a favorable reception from the FDA's advisory panel, but were then hit with an "approvable" letter asking for more data. (Here are three posts on that: before, during, and after).
Dendreon’s long-awaited big news is coming tomorrow morning. The Seattle biotech company (NASDAQ: DNDN) said it will hold a conference call before stock trading opens tomorrow morning to discuss the final results of a clinical trial that will show whether its immune-stimulating drug for prostate cancer, Provenge, can help men live longer.
The company’s conference call will start at 9 am Eastern time/6 am Pacific, about a half-hour before trading opens. The company didn’t tip its hand one way or another in its statement today, but it’s important enough that trading was halted in the stock prior to the announcement. Plenty of people are already betting big that Dendreon is going to have positive results from this trial, called Impact, of 500 with terminal prostate cancer. Shares climbed 16 percent today to close at $7.30, on about quadruple the average trading volume.
