Palm Pixie

For connectivity, there’s only EVDO Rev.A support available. Palm Pixie will be available yhis holiday season at Sprint while about its price, Engadget expect it to be less than $99.
The new smart phone is hear to impress but with some shortcomings or rather it can be said as small-comings as the phone is equipped with a smaller screen and user have to comprise as the phone has a qwerty keyboard to share on the obverse. The screen has resolution of 320 x 400 pixels and measures 2.63 inches. The phone dominates with a 2 megapixel camera rather than 3 megapixel in the ‘Pre' model. It also includes accelerometer and GPS but lacks a Wi-Fi to keep the price of the gadget low. The brand has been considered to move into those hands who want to pay less and also enjoy the magic of ‘Palm'. Therefore, since the cost have not been released but is expected to lie fifty dollars lower from its ‘Pre' model.
Palm is all set to announce its second WebOS based device later this week. The device in question is none other than the Palm Pixie, also known as the EOS, when we had first heard about its existence earlier this year. The Pixie will be announced at the forthcoming New York Fashion Week for reasons best known to Palm. The Pixie will be the affordable cousin to the Palm Pre and will be priced at a much lower rate as compared with the Pre. In the months prior to the announcement of the Pixie, Palm has never acknowledged the existence of the Pixie officially and maybe, we will see that acknowledge later this week.

Big Brother 11 final HOH

Big Brother 11 final HOH
Last night in the Big Brother House, the final three houseguests competed in round one of the three-part Head of Household competition. The remaining houseguests, 22-year-old Jordan, 24-year-old Natalie, and 29-year-old Kevin, all participated in the Log Jam HOH competition. It was an endurance competition that had them standing on a rotating log while holding on to their housekey above them. After nearly four hours of struggling to hang on, a winner emerged... read on only if you want to know!
It was Kevin who won round one. Jordan fell off after three and a half hours, and as planned between Natalie and Kevin, Natalie waited a bit before throwing the competition and falling off. The second HOH competition will carry out live on Thursday. Jordan and Natalie will face off in that one. In the past, Big Brother has turned off the live feeds quite a bit while the final HOH is played out, as well as the subsequent eviction and jury questioning. Fans may get to see a few sneak peeks to figure out what is happening before the finale airs on Sunday.
As for the Tuesday eviction and Log Jam competition, here's how it played out. Natalie had nominated Kevin and Michele, with Kevin winning the power of veto. He saved himself, which put Jordan on the block and gave Kevin the sole evicting vote. He voted to evict Michele, who had put on her devil's horns and tried one last plea to Kevin by telling him that taking her to the final two would all but guarantee him the $500,000 prize money since everyone hates her.

The Death Star

The Death Star
The Death Star was a moon-sized Imperial military battlestation armed with a planet-destroying superlaser. The Death Stars were the first in a long series of superweapons developed to execute the Tarkin Doctrine, but whose concept had been explored even before the Clone Wars. The Death Star was designed to allow Emperor Palpatine to more directly control the Galactic Empire through fear. In most instances, a Death Star was to be commanded by a Moff.
The Death Star was the code name of an unspeakably powerful and horrific weapon developed by the Empire. The immense space station carried a weapon capable of destroying entire planets. The Death Star was to be an instrument of terror, meant to cow treasonous worlds with the threat of annihilation. While the massive station is evidence of the evil that was the Galactic Empire, it was also proof of the New Order’s greatest weakness — the belief that technology and terror were superior to the will of oppressed beings fighting for freedom.
The Death Star was a battle station the size of a small moon. It had a formidable array of turbolasers and tractor beam projectors, giving it the firepower of greater than half the Imperial starfleet. Within its cavernous interior were legions of Imperial troops and fightercraft, as well as all manner of detention blocks and interrogation cells. The Death Star was spherical, and dark gray in color. Located on the Death Star’s northern hemisphere was a concave disk housing the station’s main laser weapon.
