Tommy Johnagin had just one more career goal in mind: getting his own Comedy Central special Benton native will be featured in “Comedy Central Presents: Tommy Johnagin,” a half-hour special starting at 9 p.m. He will reach that goal Friday night.“I’m really excited about it. I’m hoping a lot of people see it and like it,” Johnagin said in a phone interview earlier this week while he was driving to Indianapolis — one of many cities included in what he called “a radio blitz” to promote the upcoming show. This will not be his first time appearing on the network.
Johnagin performed a show last summer at the Nostalgia Grill in Benton to benefit the Benton junior football program. “It was nerve-racking,” he said, “but I was glad to be able to perform at my mom’s restaurant and to be able to help the football program
