Maria Sergeyeva

Maria Sergeyeva, a 24-year-old philosophy student and political activist, has become a glamorous activist and Internet sensation for Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and has her own dreams of running her beloved Russia some day. Since she gave a glowing review of Putin and President Dmitry Medvedev in January, the Russian beauty has taken to the Internet to become a pro-Putin, pro-Russia force to be reckoned with, has participated in political rallies, and isn’t shy about espousing her views. But she’s not without her critics.
Some call her "Putin’s pin-up girl" and claim Putin is using Sergeyeva to whip up young Russians into a patriotic frenzy so they’re unwavering in their nationalistic commitment to country — whether it be discouraging immigrants from taking Russian jobs, or blasting Putin critics, or even encouraging anti-Western sentiment. "I personally consider them my enemies," Sergeyeva said of critics of the state. "They cast doubt on things that are very important to me: the integrity of Russia and its sovereignty."
But if she’s that interested in being in politics some day, perhaps she should halt some of her online activity and rants. She seems to have no qualms about putting her personal feelings online for all to see — including her thoughts on men and tales of her weekend debauchery. In one of her blog postings, for example, she laments the fact that men "don’t understand what’s wrong in wanting to have sex with someone else.

Brooke Mueller

Brooke Mueller experienced double joy when she gave birth to twin boys on Saturday night, March 14. The newborn infants are named Max and Bob. A friend of the family confirmed news on the birth of the twins to Access Hollywood, which was the first to report that matter. Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller wed in a private nuptials held at a private estate in the gated Los Angeles community of Beverly Park on May 30, 2008. They exchanged vows in front of about 70 close friends and family members.
Confirming the twins' birth was Charlie's publicist Stan Rosenfield who told People the babies are "doing great." The family is "very happy," Stan continued, adding that Brooke is "doing great". As for Charlie, he feels "ecstatic," Stan confirmed. Max and Bob are Charlie's first children with Brooke. He, additionally, also has two daughters, Sam and Lola, from his failed marriage to Denise Richards, and another daughter, named Cassandra, with former girlfriend Paula Profit.
Charlie Sheen has become a dad for the fourth - and fifth - time after his wife Brooke Mueller gave birth to twins over the weekend. Charlie and Brooke married in May last year. The babies are Brooke’s first children while Charlie has two young daughters, Sam and Lola, from his marriage to Denise Richards and 24 year old daughter, Cassandra from a previous relationship.

Alice Waters

Alice Waters, a well known California healthy food advocate appeared this evening on 60 minutes preaching her ideas about health food. She says eat fresh and slow. She has started the organic revolution and advocates for better food that can also turn to better health for the American people. Alice Waters thinks a veggie garden at the White House is a good idea. I agree. That will make our decision makers to think about policies that promote good health and eating habits.
Alice Waters started her restaurant Chez Panisse in 1971. From the beginning, Alice and her partners tried to do things the way they would like them done at a dinner party at home. The restaurant, located downstairs, is open for dinner Monday through Saturday, by reservation only. Waters is an author of many recipes and cookbooks. Alice Waters cookbooks and recipes are very popular among those who like good food and subscribe to slow eating habits.
Waters is actually getting very good reviews. I love seeing Alice Waters this evening on 60 Minutes as she says "Good food is a right, not a privilege." Amen to that, as this looks to be a big night for Slow Food in the U.S.A. I read one man commenting that "inspired by Alice Waters on 60 Minutes, we are putting the microwave in the basement to see how we do without it."
