The Madewell stores in Soho and East Hampton are offering a selection of vintage clothing and accessories curated from the Brooklyn Flea. The Soho location is throwing an in-store party, including pupusas from the Red Hook food vendors, Nunu chocolates, Salvatore Bklyn cannolis and cheeses, and Brooklyn Brew Shop's "Madewell Microbrew." Check it out at 486 Broadway St., at Broome St.

J.Crew Group Inc. opened a few clothing stores under the brand name of Madewell. In May 2006 Drexler announced plans to launch a chain of casual stores in August under the name Madewell. Despite a loyal following, J.Crew’s Madewell may also be on the rocks. The chain lost $11 million last year, and J.Crew’s chief executive has admitted Madewell’s merchandise was too basic and expensive.

Rena Sable Mero

Rena Sable Mero is the new word of the day. In fact the name Rena Mero is now buzzing the internet after the UFC 100 fight of Brock Lesnar. The question is, “Who is Rena Sable Mero”? anyway. Based on Lesnar’s wiki, he has one daughter which name is Mya Lynn – born on April 10, 2002, with his ex-fiancée, Nicole. Brock Lesnar broke up with Nicole in 2003 and began dating Rena “Sable” Mero who was recently divorced from Marc Mero.

Meanwhile, there are rumors that Rena Sable Mero has already gave birth with her Brock Lesnar as the father to the child. There are no other speculations about Brock Lesnar’s wife, Rena Sable Mero other than this. But Lesnar has one stepchild with Mero: Mariah.

Lesnar won the rematch at UFC 100 on July 11, 2009 against Frank Mir. On Brock Lesnar’s post-match celebration, he flipped off an aggressive crowd which had been booing the decision of the referee. The PPV’s primary sponsor Bud Light has been buried and Coors Light was promoted instead. Brock Lesnar implied that he would have sex with his wife after the UFC 100 fight. But Brock Lesnar later apologized for his actions in his post-fight press conference, where he held a bottle of Bud Light.

Hepburn Tracy Films

Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy once again in their fifth out of nine films together. It’s not often that you find chemistry like this on screen and it certainly still remains golden in this film. They star as husband and wife who both work as lawyers. When Adam Bonner (Tracy) takes on a case prosecuting Doris Attinger (Judy Holliday) who shot her husband (Tom Ewell) in the shoulder after finding him cheating on her, Bonner’s wife, Amanda (Hepburn) decides to also take on the case, defending Doris.

Though Adam and Amanda try to at first to keep their disagreement professional, it inevitably turns personal. Of course, Amanda’s decision to defend Doris outrages Adam, as he accuses her of only taking on the case to hurt him. Amanda claims this is not true and that she took on the case because she truly believes in Doris’ cause. The two battle, both in the courtroom and in their home, to the very end.

This films breaks all conventions. In a time when women were supposed to be the good ‘housewife,’ cooking and cleaning, while the husband went off to work, Hepburn was out there, not only working, but working the same job her husband. She doesn’t take orders from anyone, actually having the audacity to speak out against her husband.
