ESPY Winners 2009

The 2009 ESPY winners were only part of the 2009 ESPY show. The 2009 ESPY winners were already leaked before the 2009 ESPYs, since the show was taped before it aired last night. So the 2009 ESPY winners were no surprise to those who read the lists earlier.

The biggest winner of the 2009 ESPYs was the biggest winner from last summer, Michael Phelps. After winning eight gold medals, Phelps settled for just four ESPYs. Phelps ended Tiger Woods' reign as Best Male Athlete, after Woods had won that ESPY five years in a row. Of course, Woods made it a little easier by being unable to compete that much in the last year, and not winning a single major.

Michael Phelps was also a 2009 ESPY winner in Best Record-Breaking Performance, Best Championship Performance, and Best Male Olympian. But with no Olympics in 2009, Phelps will probably have a harder time repeating at the ESPYs in 2010, making the field a little more open next year. Another Olympian that won big was Nastia Liukin, who won the Best Female Athlete ESPY for her gymnastics gold medal.

Taleon Goffney

Taleon Goffney, a gay porn actor, is going to prison, reports the Associated Press. Taleon Goffney was busted last year for breaking into a beauty shop. And now it's time for Taleon Goffney to pay the piper; he pleaded guilty to burglary and criminal conspiracy charges, and, according to The Associated Press, will be going to prison for at least three years.

The Taleon Goffney story would be interesting enough if it were just about a gay porn actor going to prison for burglary. But the story is a little more interesting than that. Not only did Taleon Goffney commit a series of burglaries in which his modus operandi was to break into stores through their rooftops using a chainsaw and ax, but on a few occasions Taleon Goffney's accomplice was his identical twin brother Keyontyli Goffney, who - get this - is also a gay porn actor who has appeared in gay porn flicks with his brother Taleon Goffney.

Erik Shut, of TLA Entertainment Group, told The Associated Press that Taleon Goffney and his twin brother Keyontyli Goffney appear in gay porn flicks under the names Teyon and Keyon. Shut told The Associated Press that the twins could have had a very bright future in the gay porn business. He said the fact that Taleon and Keyontyli Goffney are identical twins and "incredibly good-looking" is a novelty.

Lori Silverbush

Tom Colicchio and wife Lori Silverbush broke news Thursday that the are expecting a baby…soon! Lori is due in early August, and they already know it is a boy! This will be their first child together, and Tom has a 16-year-old son from a previous relationship.

A name has been picked out for the little guy, but won’t be revealed until he is born. Tom says, “We’re keeping it under wraps. Our parents don’t know the name yet.” Congratulations on the pregnancy…and on the two Emmy nominations for Top Chef!

Breaking the news to Tom’s mother turned out to be fun. Tom shares, “This is her seventh [grandchild]! In fact, that’s how we broke it to her. We gave her a little onesie with the number seven on the back of it. She opened it up and she’s like, ‘What?!’”
