Richard Hatch Arrested

Richard Hatch Arrested

Richard Hatch Arrested Again After Matt Lauer Interview Survivor winner Richard Hatch was moved from house arrest to confinement again shortly after his interview with Matt Lauer on Tuesday, but no details were readily available as to the reason he was detained: In Tuesday's interview Hatch maintained his innocence regarding his tax evasion conviction and said that he believes the judge had it out for him because he is gay.

"The former “Survivor” star was taken to the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office in Bourne, Mass., which has a contract with the Federal Bureau of Prisons to hold federal inmates. 'We just don’t have the same kind of details on the federal inmates we book as we do with the regular city and county inmates,' explained Sheriff's Office spokesman Roy Lyons. 'It’s got to be that he violated some kind of condition.

There’s no other reason this would have happened.' Traci Billingsley, a spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, told TODAY that her agency could not reveal specific information about Hatch’s situation, adding that there are a variety of reasons to return inmates from house arrest to confinement. Before being taken back into custody, Richard Hatch had to get permission a week in advance to leave his sister's property for any reason."

Barney Frank town hall

Barney Frank town hall
Barney Frank had a spirited town hall meeting in his home state recently in which he (unlike so many of his colleagues) directly engaged and insulted his constituents. I don't agree with Frank on much beyond legalizing drugs and gambling, but I think he comes off pretty well here, and certainly gets points for showing up. Here's a report that includes many Frank-a-riffic highlights (for instance, asking a resident, "On what planet do you spend most of your time") from Greta Van Susteren's Fox News show, which also includes an interview with Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) about health care.
Earlier today, Massachusetts representative Barney Frank had a run-in with a town hall protester who opposes President Obama's proposed health care reform. The woman asked asked the congressman, "Why do you continue to support a Nazi policy?" Frank's off-the-cuff response shows why he has become a favorite of cable television talk shows.
At a Barney Frank town hall meeting in Dartmouth, MA, a constituent asks, "Why are you supporting this Nazi policy?" Frank responds: "On what planet do you spend most of your time?" He then calls her approach "vile, contemptible nonsense." He closes by saying: "Trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table."

Michelle Obama Shorts

Michelle Obama Shorts
Michelle Obama Shorts are out there front and center today as she was reported wearing some very casual fashion while vacationing on at the Grand Canyon. The big question was, “Should the first lady allow herself to be seen in public in such a casual look?” I say “Why not?” you see some women wearing their pajamas to go to the grocery store every day! She looks good and in nice shape so you go First Lady! The voters who saw the picture below agreed with me at 88% she should wear this if she wants.
Michelle Obama wearing shorts has sparked the country’s interest since this picture of her wearing shorts has hit the presses. Michelle Obama’s shorts are being called short shorts. Really? She was on vacation with the family in the Grand Canyon and who doesn’t wear shorts on vacation? Here is another picture of Michelle Obama wearing shorts while walking the dog. It’s no secret that Chatter is not a fan of the Obamas, Barack or Michelle, but come on people.
First Lady Michelle Obama is dominating news headlines again for her fashion. This time, there is baffling uproar over her decision to wear short shorts on her vacation. Some people are upset that she chooses to show her hard-earned gams in the middle of August while hiking and water rafting. Apparently, she should hike the trails in a sheath dress, sweater, brooch and full makeup or perharps a floor-length Oscar de la Renta evening gown. I'm sure that's how the rest of America dresses when they go hiking. If you're into comfortable vacationing, then get your own short shorts.
