Hennis is the soldier, who was accused of murdering Kathryn East Burn and two of his daughters, Kara and Erin, leaving another child, Jana, to fend for themselves. Then, 25 years ago, insisted he was innocent. He was sentenced in his first trial, but asked him and won a new trial. He was acquitted a second time. He left the army, he moved to Washington state and turned to live his life.
But the new technology could make forensic testing of DNA evidence from the crime scene, showing that there could be innocent after all.
