
The Chicago Air and Water Show of 2009 will take place this weekend, August 15-16 and many residents and tourists of the city are looking forward to it. According to Explorechicago this the show has 50 years of history and 2009 will mark the 51st anniversary of Chicago Air and Water Show. "From simple beginnings as part of a "Family Day Celebration" in 1959, the show has grown to the oldest and largest free admission air and water exhibition in the United States.
For hotel reservations of the city visitors ExploreChicago apparently has partnered with Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, located on 2233 South Martin L. King Drive in Chicago. This is the hotel they suggest on their website. It has 800 newly renovated guestrooms with city views. Completimentary shuttle to downtown attractions is provided.
Bike and Roll Chicago (North Ave Beach) will be renting beach chairs including a spot in our VIP section for $35 per person this year. We will also be selling beach chairs at our Ohio St Beach location and at the Division Tunnel near Oak St Beach.
