Suwichada Busamrong Press is married to Jim Press, a Chrysler top executive who faces financial failure. Suwichada Busamrong Press’ husband joined Chyrsler n 2007 as one of three top executives at the auto maker. Now the elimination of bonuses at the troubled automaker prevents Press from repaying a personal loan. Today Press is reportedly facing $1.35 million of unpaid federal taxes and a personal loan.
Suwichada Busamrong Press and her husband bought a 6,900-square-foot mansion using a $2.2 million mortgage. That house is now on the market with a tax lien of $947,000 related to unpaid income taxes for 2007, according to a filing in late August. Jim Press wrote in a statement to Western Federal Credit
“I am not able to make the November and February payments due to the elimination of bonuses which was just announced by my company. “I am attempting to arrange for a loan against my future bonus with my employer which would allow me to pay this loan off.”
