mattie larson

mattie larson

Rebeca of Plano, Texas won her first U.S. gymnastics all-around title Saturday night, edging Mattie Larson by 3.3 points for first place. Bros had a total score of 120.3 for the four exercises - the vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. She was first on the bars and beam and finished behind Larson on the floor.

"I felt really good," said Bros. "I made all of my routines and I did what I hoped to do. [Winning the Visa Championships] was always a big goal for me and I'm just happy to be able to do it now."

Alicia Sacrament, a 2008 Olympic team silver medalist, became the first U.S. woman to win five national vault titles. She topped Vanessa Marrissa and Brandie Jay. Jonathan Horton was crowned U.S. men's gymnastics champion for a second straight year, beating Danell Leyva by 2.3 points Friday night.

Shawn Johnson Bikini

Shawn Johnson bikini pictures are back in demand once again. Well first time Shawn’s bikini pictures were leaked to the internet in the late August of 2008. I really don’t know why there is such a sudden rise in demand of those pictures once again. When these pictures were leaked first time Shawn and her friend Nastia Liukin had just won Olympic Gold Medals in Gymnastics in China and this time Shawn had won Dancing With The Stars Season 8 reality show.
But this week's celebrity is Olympic champion Shawn Johnson. Thousands of people are probably going to begin searching for Shawn Johnson photos (in a bikini, tight, and dancing garb) so to make it easy here are some photo search links on Flickr. Use some of the search terms here to find Shawn Johnson photos online: Shawn Johnson (Flickr), Shawn Johnson DWTS (Flickr), Shawn Johnson DWTS (Google image search).
Congratulations to Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas! And congratulations to ABC television for another successful season of Dancing with the Stars. I hear the show will be back for a ninth season, also on ABC. Visit the official Dancing with the Stars home page online... ABC: dancingwiththestars. It was that same fall, when Emmitt Smith, former NFL running back, won the Dancing with the Stars competition. Emmett Smith has long been an advocate for chiropractic care, advising LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers to find a good chiropractor, and even being shown on TV during training for Dancing with the Stars, receiving an adjustment from his chiropractor.

Belinda Carlisle

Belinda Carlisle to join Dancing With The Stars within the General Entertainment forums, part of the Non-Music Discussions category; Belinda Carlisle lead singer of the Go-Go's will be joining DWTS this season. Other notable celebrities include Jewel. Ballroomful of surreal ... Lil' Kim and Belinda Carlisle are set to appear on Dancing with the Stars.
Most importantly, Belinda Carlisle will be competing against Lil' Kim. Belinda Carlisle. And Lil' Kim. We can only hope that both will last long enough in the competition to get to dance to one of their own songs in the freestyle round. Chances are high that excitable judge Bruno Tonioli will squeal with delight at both of them.
Apart from that, we have Denise Richards, famous these days mostly for her bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen and her random E! reality show – oh, and denying that she was going to be on Dancing with the Stars. Singer-songwriter Jewel's in there too, along with her husband, "rodeo athlete" Ty Murray; clearly they noted the brilliant success the BBC had with Gabby and Kenny Logan in 2007 and thought they'd piggyback on it.

Steve Wozniak

Steve Wozniak will be featured on the next season of Dancing With the Stars. There's not much we can tell you right now about his upcoming moves, though we will be watching with bated breath, quietly hoping for a double Lindy, the Sugarfoot, and Denise Richards being dipped on a Segway. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak isn't known for his dance moves - but now he's going to bust his best grooves in front of millions.
The programme, which is America's version of Strictly Come Dancing, is one of the biggest shows in the US. We interviewed Woz recently, and I'm led to believe that training is just about to start ahead of the show in March - although he has already been getting himself ready for the show for the past few weeks. And while Woz claims he's not much of a dancer, he also said that his god daughter had persuaded him to take part when ABC approached him about the show.
The 58-year-old might seem an unlikely candidate for a few turns around the floor (after all, he's mostly partial to Segway Polo these days) but he's not the only geek to have appeared on the show: Woz follows in the footsteps of fellow tech billionaire Mark Cuban, who took part in 2007. He's also had a brush with television recently, as a close friend of comedian Kathy Griffin, who has her own reality show.
