Bret Michaels Tony Awards

Bret Michaels got lit up after performing at the Tony Awards. Just watch the video below and pay close attention at the end. Every rose does indeed have its thorn. Michaels and his band Poison performed during the opening number, singing "Nothin' But a Good Time" with the cast of "Rock of Ages." Could this be setting the stage for Poison to become part of the '80s hair band Broadway show?
Poison singer and Rock of Love star, Brett Michaels, was hit by the stage set as he was exiting the stage after performing with the Rock of Ages cast in the opening number of tonight’s Tony awards. He was rushed to the hospital afterward. Not sure what the extent of his injuries are at this time, but it looks like he didn’t break his nose as was feared. It sure wasn't "nothing but a good time" at the Tony Awards for Brett Michaels last night -- because after performing in the opening number, dude ran smack into a falling set piece and landed flat on his ass.
A spokesperson for the Tonys tells the AP Michaels just "missed his mark" but wouldn't comment on any injuries except to say his nose wasn't broken. The stars came out in droves to this year's Tony Awards, but it was the Broadway babies who took home most of the awards. A trio of teenagers from Billy Elliot bested American Idol runner-up Constantine Maroulis and several Great White Way regulars for Best Lead Actor in a Musical.
