The undercard featured UFC veterans as well as Affliction Entertainment Vice President Tom Atencio in his second MMA fight.While Fight Force International may be a new promotion to most MMA fans, matchmaker Russell Schenck recently told MMAjunkie.com Radio that the weekend card featuring Bobby Lashley vs. Bob Sapp, Pedro Rizzo vs. Gilbert Yvel and more is just the beginning – and a continuation of what has already begun.
"We've done 14 mixed martial arts cards, about eight of them in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Miss.," Schenck said. "The shows that we've done are called the 'Blood and Sand' series, and we've done seven of those. Then we've done some smaller shows throughout the Gulf Coast area." Schenck said he and promoters Fight Force International, as well as co-promoters Prize Fight Promotions, are starting a new series in "Ultimate Chaos," but he also warns not to consider the group a new organization.
