Wimbledon Men s Final

Roger Federer has won the second set of the men's final at Wimbledon against Andy Roddick 7-6 (6). Roddick won the first set 7-5. Pete Sampras is at the All England Club watching Federer and Roddick play in the men's final. Federer is trying to win his 15th Grand Slam title, which would better Sampras' mark by one. Sampras had not been back to the All England Club since losing to George Bastl in five sets in the second round of the 2002 tournament.
Boca Raton's Andy Roddick is taking on second-seed Roger Federer in today's men's final at Wimbledon. Federer is seeking his 15th Grand Slam title, which would break his tie with Pete Sampras for the most ever. Federer owns an 18-and-2 lifetime record against Roddick. Federer beat Roddick in the 2004 and 2005 Wimbledon finals. Roddick attended Boca Prep International School.
First, Serena beat her sister Venus in the women's final and then teamed up with her to take the doubles crown. Serena earned her third-career singles championship at the All-England Club and ended her sister's run of two straight Wimbledon titles, posting a 7-6, 6-2 win over Venus in the final. About 3 1-2 hours after their match ended, Serena and Venus returned to Centre Court to win a second consecutive Wimbledon doubles championship. They beat Australians Samantha Stosur and Rennae Stubbs 7-6 (4), 6-4 to collect their ninth women's doubles Grand Slam title, fourth at Wimbledon.
