Susan Boyle finale performance

Susan Boyle’s finale performance here in another post; the video is below the post. Have a watch if you have not seen it yet and if you’re from the U.S., let us know your reaction to the Britain’s Got Talent finale and Susan Boyle losing. Why does the U.S. love Susan Boyle so much? Is it because Susan Boyle received more attention from the U.S. media or is it a different attitude towards Susan?
The U.S reaction to the British Press has not been good, they feel that Susan Boyle was given a really hard time and that may have gone against her in Britain’s Got Talent 2009. It would be interesting to see what the outcome of Britain’s Got Talent 2009 finale would have been if the United States were allowed to vote. We are sure Susan Boyle would have taken the crown.

The Scottish singer now known throughout the world from her memorable Britain’s Got Talent ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ audition performed in the semi-final where here performance of Memory from the musical Cats earned her a place in the Britain’s Got Talent 2009 final.
The world knows the name and life story of the 47-year-old singer from Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland. Her original performance has been viewed by tens of millions on YouTube, and is widely considered to be one of the most viewed viral video hits of all time. The video of the Susan Boyle semi-final performance also went viral.
The story is all but an indelible part of pop culture of the unknown singer, prejudged because of her appearance, mesmerizing a cynical audience and skeptical panel of judges, Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. The singer had a turbulent week which brought tabloid headlines speaking of a Susan Boyle meltdown but she persevered and issued a statement of her resolve to perform in the Britain’s Got Talent final.
