TV producer Sam Simon says he's been told more than once that his private poker games are so entertaining, they should be a show. He's putting that to the test with "Sam's Game," debuting Thursday on Playboy TV. Among the players: Artie Lange, Norm MacDonald, Jennifer Tilly and Brande Roderick, a former Playmate of the Year and "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant. Poker champions also take part. According to Simon, the Texas Hold 'Em games may not always be stellar, but they will be funny — and that's comedy of the raw sort, along with unfiltered language to match. "Sam's Game" is filmed at The Palms casino and resort in Las Vegas. Staff at the Lutheran seminary in Gettysburg will hold a yard sale 8 a.m. June 19 on campus as a fundraiser for the school's Student Scholarship Fund.
The sale at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg will include furniture, clothing, books, toys and household items at the intersection of Springs Avenue and Seminary Ridge in the front yard of the home of the school's founder, Samuel Simon Schmucker.
