Suffolk Community College won its first NJCAA national football championship on Sunday. The General Herkimer defeated the Clippers 3-2 in overtime. The college football team enjoyed an undefeated season.

Said head coach Frank Vertullo, it was clear that the team is not something special after the first session of August. Suffolk faces stiff competition from Herkimer and Richland and colleges. Herkimer and the Richmond football team has made the NJCAA championship 11 times, winning nine victories.

The game remained a tie break. Despite fierce competition in the Herkimer, Suffolk scored two goals and win the match.
