Though she was not very well known, the way she was killed by her ex husband and reality star has aggrieved people more. Many people have not been able to come to terms with the gruesome killing of a model like Jasmine Fiore. They are saying that the killer, her former husband and the reality star Ryan Jenkins be given exemplary punishment. They are also asking the federal government to increase the hunt down Jenkins as soon as possible.

Buena Park Chief of Police Tom Monson said police received information Wednesday that Jenkins could have escaped to Canada. Police agencies across Canada were on the lookout for Jenkins after US officials suggested he likely fled more than 1,600 kilometers from southern California to sneak back into the country. However, Peter Van Loan, Federal Public Safety Minister said reports that Jenkins had crossed the border were unconfirmed, but police were watching for him. His car and an empty boat trailer were found at a Point Roberts, just south of Vancouver that can only be reached by land from Canada, said Tom Monson.

California prosecutors have charged the star of “Megan Wants a Millionaire”, Ryan Alexander Jenkins with the murder of his 28-year-old ex-wife and former model Jasmine Fiore. Fiore’s mutilated body was found naked in a suitcase in a trash bin here earlier this week. Her fingers and teeth were found missing. After reporting Fiore missing Saturday night to the Los Angeles County sheriff's department, Jenkins cut off contact with police. Jasmine Fiore was last seen alive with Jenkins at a poker game in San Diego. A preliminary coroner's report indicated she was strangled.
