Jermaine Gresham

Jermaine Gresham
Jermaine Gresham has done something bad to his knee, and will likely not play against BYU, who Oklahoma will still paste by thirty points. The early read on the knee is vague, but the words “Anterior Cruciate Ligament” do not appear anywhere near this report. If you have a meniscus you’d like to donate to Jermaine Gresham, the University of Oklahoma athletic offices are ready when you are.
Oklahoma’s All-American tight end Jermaine Gresham will miss the BYU game Saturday due to injury. The World is working to confirm the story, and OU beat writer Guerin Emig has written a blog about what affect Gresham’s absence could have on the Sooners and who might replace him at tight end if he’s out.
The big Oklahoma papers have not weighed in as of this morning. (Tulsa World is also mum.) Take message board "gossip" for what it's worth, but the above bit comes from a well-established admin on OU's Rivals site, i.e. not a random, isolated fan whose "sources" could be anyone; it's not substantially contradicted at any point in a very long thread.
