There Goes The Neighborhood Winner

There Goes The Neighborhood Winner
There Goes The Neighborhood Winner:Hello Good morning , and welcome to the season finale of There Goes The Neighborhood. Tonight one family will win the grand prize of $250,000 dollars. Will it be the Schindlers, the Upshaws or the Johnstons? Let’s find out! The show opens with some previous scenes and some talk from the final three families. everyone seems a bit stressed about it, and understandably so.
Challenge time. They need to play a memory sort of game where they memorize where everything is and put everything back on another board—while using water slides. The winner gets to choose who will stay in the competition….and a family day complete with video games, food and other fun goodies. After a lot of excitement, the Johnstons win. The Johnstons get their prize of freedom–with a catch—they can’t go through the door. They are instead lifted in a crate and carried over the wall. Meanwhile, the remaining two families discuss and complain about what is going on. To be honest, I kind of tuned out at that point because it was pretty much the same stuff over and over again.
It comes time for the neighborhood meeting and elimination. The Johnstons choose to keep the Schindlers—meaning the Upshaws are eliminated. After some more recaps, socializing and eating (was this really necessary? Really? Why not just make it one whole episode instead of two?) We get to the last challenge which is an obstacle course that involves looking for keys, playing golf and crossing the finish line, among other things. It reminds me of Family Double Dare….does anyone else remember that show? (I know, I totally dated myself there!) The winner will host a barbecue for the entire neighborhood. (Yes! A reunion!) There is a ton of screaming and excitement during the challenge, but in the end, the Schindlers win!
