Clint Black

Clint Black is the latest country music star among the contestants on the series and he's asking Trace for advice. Trace told national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville, "He called me and kinda wanted to see if I could give him some pointers or advice, and I told him that I really couldn't." Adkins told Clint to react to what's going on around him and just try to survive.

In the final show of last year's "Apprentice," Trace sang "You're Gonna Miss This," the song that has him nominated for a Grammy Award for the first time in his career. Clint will compete against Olympic skater Scott Hamilton, basketball star Dennis Rodman, singer Brian McKnight and Joan and Melissa Rivers "The Celebrity Apprentice" begins its new season on March 1.

Clint Murchison Jr. became known as the man who owned the Dallas Cowboys before undercutting his fortune with a string of bad debts in the 1980s One year ago, Trace Adkins took a chance and made it all the way to the finals of The Celebrity Apprentice before hearing those famous words, "You're fired!" This season on "Apprentice" another country star is headed to the boardroom with Donald Trump.
