Baje Fletcher is a Gold Digger. No, not the one in the Kanye West video — she’s the real thing. Most would remember this Brooklyn eye-turner from MTV’s reality hit Paris Hilton’s My New BFF as the no nonsense diva who couldn’t make the cut, but Baje is more than a reality rejection. Not one to shy away from the camera, this Jamaican queen has appeared in dozens of videos and sitcoms, all the while handling CEO duties for her talent agency Glitz and Glamour Models. Now adding author to her resume, Baje is on the cusp of releasing her controversial book, A Gold Digger’s Guide.

Baje Fletcher: She was what I expected. She was fun, open-minded and free-spirited. But, when the cameras are on she plays the ditsy role. When the cameras are off she is more real, which is what I liked more. Now, I know you’re a gold digger, but did you really want to be Paris’ best friend? Well, I’ve been modeling and acting for six years and I never watched [Paris Hilton’s] The Simple Life, so you can put two and two together. Well, me personally, I go after Princes, Sheiks, directors and producers.

There are no quick answers to that question. There are a bunch of strategies. Basically, you have to look the part –or act the part — for one. Plus, you have to be at the right places. And you have to know what to say to each man. You can’t use the same strategy. Most men do have one-track minds, but they do come in different kinds of species.
