US Airways

A computer glitch on Friday snapped a roadmap for U.S. Airways customers, such as reports flooded the grounded flights across the country. In a statement, the airline said that the website has a computer system failure usairways.com, airport and airline computer experience.

The Tempe, Arizona carrier cited a loss of power in the vicinity of one of the repositories of the airline center in Phoenix as a possible cause. By 8:45 p.m., some airport computer systems came back online, "and we are working to restore order," the airline said. U. S. Airways officials could not immediately say how many flights or passengers affected.

Tina Swail airline spokesman had no information on when the error occurred or what caused it, or if the problem completely. Officials at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, said that the blackout happened mid-afternoon, and passengers were not able to control the booking online, change their flights and check flight. The clients were encouraged to check the flight arrived at the airport before calling the U. S. Airlines reservations to 800-428-4322.
