Our Featured Artist this week, Darius Rucker. He is best known worldwide as "Hootie" by Hootie and the Blowfish. He began his solo career in country music scene. This company has met with criticism, and the same high level of commercial success has always come. His album debuted at number one country in the Billboard charts.Capture Darius Ruck Tour presented by H20 in the XTU 925. Brad Paisley and Justin Moore will also address the event. It takes place Saturday, 06/16 at 16:00 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey.

We talked with him at the World Cafe Live for a live concert special events WXTU 92.5. He spoke candidly with us about their efforts past, present and future as a leading artist of the scene need U.S. national music. It excited the audience with the interpretation of his work today, but classics from his past.

But what Darius Rucker often feel these days is appreciated. . . Grateful to the millions of fans who knew Rucker as the voice of Hootie & The Blowfish, the Grammy-winning group whose album Cracked Rear View sold over 16 million copies, but for the singer and composer in his natural evolution following the music country. Grateful to the country radio programmers hundreds embraced as a welcome addition to the genre as the nation countless music fans nationwide. . . Thankful that Nashville-based songwriters and other artists have recognized as their own country. . . Grateful that is embraced by the media and invited to perform on The Late Show, The Tonight Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and more. . . And finally, grateful that, as a performer with experience that has already experienced the highs and lows of fame irregular, it is land and safe enough these days to truly appreciate this new stage in his career.
