baltimore county public schools

baltimore county public schools

There is a heat wave that has caused major Public Schools Baltimore County to close early today. The heat index is so high that the schools, many do not have air conditioning closes two hours earlier and a peak of 93 expected in the region.

Extracurricular activities will be determined case by case, depending on the review. Afternoon Pre-K cancels today. The students in the district are certainly happy that at some unexpected moment without so early in the year. Hopefully everyone can come home safely and keep calm.

Baltimore County has a total of 173 schools, and of those, about 50-60 air conditioning have little or nothing, which can be a big problem for students and staff when the temperatures are so high. This early termination resulted in a bit of a nightmare with the logistics of getting 70,000 students in 800 buses to go home to their parents unexpectedly early.
