St. Vrain Valley School District bus which is open and running this morning, but after school activities are canceled. Snow is expected to fall during the day, the area of early warning, which includes Fort Collins, Hereford, Loveland, Nunn, Arvada, Boulder, Golden, Lakewood, Aurora, Brighton, Denver, Denver International Airport, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Parker, Castle Rock, Elbert, Fondis, Kiowa, Larkspur, Briggsdale, Grover, Pawnee Buttes, Raymer, Stoneham, Eaton, Fort Lupton, Greeley and Roggen.
The winter storm warning for an area that includes Longmont continues until 6 p.m. Thursday. This is according to Times-Call weather consultant Dave Larison, Longmont had 2.5 inches of snowfall overnight bringing both the monthly and seasonal total in the city to 6.2 inches. Normal snowfall for the season to date is 3 inches. Snowfall on Oct. 9 launched Longmont's snowfall season earlier than normal.
The road is full of snow, liquid (which would make it a super-slippery, drive slowly: If you have a car !!!!!) and there can not close the road ... remains fixated on The Weather Channel and local news channels to your TV or radio.
